When Neck and Shoulder Pain starts, it’s easy to think “I just slept wrong and have a crick in my neck”.  Or maybe you assume you just lifted something too heavy, or sat at the computer too long.....  Or you have no idea which is actually the problem, "is it  my neck or my shoulder??? "

​Before I started at Blue Wave Physical Therapy, I was treated elsewhere for two, three-month sessions for a torn rotator cuff.  I progressively had more pain and numbing with each session.  I was unable to drive or move my arm in all but the simplest upward motion.  I wasn’t able to do day-to-day activities, including dressing myself.   I also tried alternative treatments: massage, acupuncture and chiropractic care.  Everything seemed to worsen the pain.
 
Then I was recommended to Blue Wave Physical Therapy.   I was giving it one more shot before I opted for the recommended surgery.  After only a month of one-on-one attention with the same therapist through exercise and massage I had lessening pain.  I continued with the personalized, at-home exercise plan and can dress myself, drive, etc.  I am now pain free.
